I just made...

... a pineapple and coconut cake. It's a variation on the coconut cake I've made a number of times before. So far it's looking pretty good as it cools, but the proof will be in the tasting as always.

Here's a pic before icing.

What did you just make?

I love that plate! Cake looks yummy too.

I'm trying to make some ribs, in the oven. So far they aren't too tender. I'm hoping another hour will fix that. :: crosses fingers ::

Shouldn't the ribs have come BEFORE the cake?

Nah, they're all going to the same place anyway. :p

...a white cake with strawberry frosting and strawberry filling. Kitsune made strawberry jam, yesterday, and it didn't set up quite right, so we decided to go ahead and use up the delicious strawberry goo.

I only have one thing to say to that cake choco and that's YUMMO!

Aliantha 05-27-2009 05:56 PM

My cake tastes nice, but it falls apart a bit when it's cut. The consistancy is right, but I think next time I'll use pineapple juice instead of crushed pineapple. It's the fibres of the pineapple that're making it crumble when it's cut. Maybe I need a sharper knife. lol

Does anyone know how to get drool off a keyboard?
