Things That You Can Make A Room Full of Vintage Keyboards Do
This is the backing track to a song that was never used, written on spec for a label artist. Basically, I go into a little room, build an entire track, and the artist then tries to write lyrics to go with it, in order to get a songwriting credit on their record. This one sat in the drawer forever, and I just pulled it out the other day. Everything on here is some old quirky tweaky keyboard being run through a bunch of processors (except the strings, drums, bass). Fender Rhodes, Jupiter 8, Arp Omni, Mini Moog, Wurlitzer, Korg PolySix, Farfisa Soundmaker, fun stuff!
Enjoy! Underneath the Satellites |
Wow, smooth. Very nice stuff.
I assume since it's posted here that you don't mind if we share this with others? |
nope, if it's here, it's public.
I better not hear it on the radio in 6 months though, unless I'm getting sent royalty checks! |
Oops! Would you be mad if I accidentally...did something?
|
Unfortunately, smooth, I think it's too good to make it on radio these days.
Maybe if you laid in an auto-tuned vocal by a busty pop-tart. :headshake |
And get Mulher Melancia dancing in the video...

flint, do away.

Just kidding. Awesome track. Thanks for sharing!

It is official. I now envy you more than anyone I know. If you have any spare Minimoogs you don't need, I'll send you my address.:p

Start saving those pennies now! |
Pretty cool

I so love vintage musical instruments! Or old electronics in general.
Nice track, Smooth. I, too, envy you. |
