Feb 7, 2010: Snowboarding bulldogs
http://cellar.org/2010/snowboard-dog1.jpg
Tillman the bulldog is known best for being a skateboarding dog, and if you've ever seen him go, it's awesome. He gets the skateboard going, hops on and steers it. He loves it. Now he's snowboarding for the winter Olympics, and he's joined here by another boarding dog named Rose. http://cellar.org/2010/snowboard-dog2.jpg Is there something about bulldogs that makes them good boarders? The low center of gravity I suppose? |

very cute! send to grandson.
|
i love how he swerves around. like his instinct to run makes him want to give input to the board instead of just riding along.

This is one of those animals that lets us know that our pets are a lot more in tune with the world than we might dare suppose.
|
And they should be twice as clumsy, because they have four feet to trip with. :haha:

[Pontiac] Wider is better. [/Pontiac]

They're not bulldogs, they're teenage St Bernards, with noses that have been pushed back by all that board-wind.

RIP Tillman the skateboarding bulldog. He was 10 and had developed a heart muscle disease.
Good dog. http://www.avclub.com/article/rip-ti...ding-bu-227673 |

So young, it was probably the exertion of doing the Apple commercial that did him in. Fortunately he repaid the cost of his room and board many times over, so he didn't die a pauper, but a free dog, beholdin' to no man. He can cross the golden bridge with his head held high, knowing he's earned his place in bowser heaven.
