Wife gifts
Mrs. Z's birthday is next week. I've ordered her a Garmin 255W gps navigator.
She's directionally challenged and not averse to useful gifts so I'm hoping this is a hit. |
I have a Gps , Got it a few years ago , I use it Literally Every Day , Not that I dont know or cant figure out how to get to where I need , but it IS Nice to Know when I am going to get there , and also for those obscure places that you havent been to befor it helps find them
Set the voice commands to Swedish Or Pakistani just to Mess with her I had Mine in British untill I turned it off |
Last time I travelled a long distance, i decided that a normal GPS wouldn't do it for me. I am seriously direction dyslexic (a phrase I coined and no it's not for sale) and once I get off the path, I am screwed.
However, I need a very calming GPS, a soothing gentle voice: "OK, Shaw, you missed your turn back there. Now now, don't worry, it's OK. We can fix this. YOU'RE NOT A BAD PERSON! Everyone gets lost from time to time. No, you're not stupid. Now, here's what I need you to do...take the next left (directions). Then we'll go get ice cream, OK?..." |
You drive to different job sites a lot, don't you zippy? I can see that coming in handy. Back when I was on the road for work a lot, the road map atlas lived on my passenger seat, so I can see that.

Yeah Glatt 2-300 miles in a day aint unusual , so this Little gps comes in WAY handy

Wife gifts?
Sure! You can have either one, I'm not using them anymore. If you do though, you probably won't talk to me anymore, but that's ok. They'll make up for it. |
