Musical Icky Feelings
 

Pandora is playing me a live version of Van Halen's Panama, fronted by Sammy Hagar.

Anytime Annie Lennox opens her mouth, I throw up in mine a little.

Her voice does to me almost what I imagine Mary Hart's voice did to that one dude.

It's like fingernails on a blackboard, wet yarn, holey ceilings, the smell of coconut...for pure unadulterated icky feelings

Elvis Costello and Jackson Brown both irritate me

i don't put much credence in that. I have one station that seems determined for me to enjoy some bluegrass.

I intensely dislike Ms. Lennox' style of music, but, dayum, that woman has some pipes.

aw c/mon, MEDUSA? I'll agree that "here comes the rain was played to death, but the Eurythmics had some great tunes.

I would much rather listen to Lennox than Bruce Springsteen any day.

No really you can have Pandora. I'll take last.fm all alone...That totally works for me. :) More space for me...except it is down right now. :(

You can get your music license rebuff all you want, I'll be at last.fm.

Disco is icky

It's music that's "icky" to us. I never liked Lennox' (Lennoxes?) throaty voice. It's like she needs to clear her throat. Not saying the woman can't belt out a song...her voice just grates on me.

Also not a fan of Springsteen, though he had some great songs. Also not a fan of U2, though they've had some songs I liked.

I can think they're icky if I want. :p:
