Yet, it couldn't find time to rain when Dayton was burning down. Don't worry, Dayton sucks at burning down. I think they're finally getting it somewhat under control, but it took them a damn long time to tell us that they didn't find any toxic fumes coming from the burning salvage yard. They did tell us to stay inside. Like toxins can't break through the air system? Are there safeguards for that? :hazmatsuitsmilie:
I thought we might get a song about us and everything. More rain coming! I love rain, but more so when it's about 80 degrees. |
It's been right soggy here in KC as well. Forecast for the coming week going into Pagan Festival is warm and dry. Hope that holds all the way through Memorial Day.

Curse you and your rain. It was beautiful here yesterday, I was all set for a bike ride this morning..... :(

When Nashville got all the rain, we got the exact same thing. We broke our record for 24 hour rainfall. Then broke that record the next day. Almost 14 inches in just under 48 hrs. That's over a quarter of our annual rainfall. In 48 hrs. Some flooding problems, (some of our outlying county roads are still way impassable) but nothing like what Nashville got.
It would take me at least a week to give someone 14 inches. |
The average annual rainfall in Denver is 15.4 inches.
