Chicas! I need your helps!!

Hey ya'll! How you doin' girlfriend?

I"m finally able to do something with my hair (after two years of it growing back in and not being so damn curly now) and I'd llike some advice. It's just to my shoulders now and about one lenth with bangs. And blonde.

Any suggestions for me? They'd be very appreciated. :)

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Please, nO! anything but that.

Sundae 07-07-2010 10:42 AM

Well, not all of it of course.
And keep the eyebrows this time.

I'm trying to work out what to do with mine at the moment.
I'm allowing it to grow a bit, but doubt I'll even get as far as a bob before I think a change is due.

The last people you want to ask for hair advice is girls. Unless you are batting for the other team.

Trilby 07-07-2010 10:50 AM

ok, go. - I'm not batting for the other team - not that there's anything wrong with that....I'm just not at the mo.

jinx 07-07-2010 10:52 AM

Wash, condition, mousse, scrunch while drying. Put in pony tail. Trim ends every 6 mos or so...

That's all I got.

Cloud 07-07-2010 11:01 AM

There's nothing wrong with scrunchy curls! You could, of course blow dry it, set it with velcro or hot rollers, learn different ways to put it up, let it go to your natural color/closer to natural, or dye it a different color.

I've been letting mine grow. The trick is long layers and angles along the bottom (at least for my hair, which is baby fine but has wave and volume.) Frequent trims to keep the shape and stave off split ends. In the summer, I love wearing it in a long ponytail, and I have some bangs so it doesn't look so harsh on my face.

Please don't get the reverse mullet. I want to smack everyone who jumps on the "everyone has this hairstyle so even though it's ugly I must have it too" bandwagon.

If you color it yourself I LOVE L'oreal Feria: it's super-conditioning and makes my hair shiny and healthy looking.

Shawnee thank you for bringing up Feria as I was about to mention it in the endorse thread! I was happy with the results again, though Bri I am no one to give hair advice
I am currently sporting the aging Meth addict look. So good luck to you and Go Feria!

Tulip 07-07-2010 11:49 PM

Well, now, you need to post a picture of yourself for us to have a better idea of how you and your hair look like to make a proper suggestion. ;) .....hehe Squirrel made a very good point, so you should allow the men hair for their input too. You know, it's the men who are ones really look at you. ;) Hmm.....How about putting up some hairstyles that appeals to you and we'll give you some input? Honestly, I have no idea myself. I'm currently looking around for a new hairstyle myself. :D

Trilby 07-08-2010 03:28 AM

Tulip - your hair is gorgeous (I saw you in the other thread ;) -- and you are mucho cute, too.
