What Did YOU Have For Lunch?

I had the Reverse Cowgirl. With a side order of Smack Dat Ass.

Now, I have different priorities in my life than most folks. My priorities revolve mainly around drinking, smokin' dope, and partying in whatever manner is available at the moment I decide I should be partying. That said, my bedtimes usually coincide with most folks' "Ah, shit time to go to work" times. Today was no different (at first). I got into bed a little after six this morning.

Just a shade after eleven (am), I awake (groggily) to my comforter sliding down my chest. Now, since I sleep commando-style, there was a low level of alarm involved. I pry my eyes open, and there she is, on her lunch break. God bless her. I said "Good morning glory!" She had pulled the comforter to about my knees, and she replied "Well I reckon so!" There was Dick doing his best impression of a totem pole. We turned the stereo on, and I got rode like a rodeo bull. Then, she got (what appeared to be) her nut, and pulled off what was very nearly a flying dismount, went to the bathroom, came out fully dressed and said "I gotta get back to work!" and tore outta here. You remember me saying 'she got hers' and not saying 'I got mine'? Yeah, she left me holding my weapon with an unexpended round stuck in the chamber...

She gets a half-hour for lunch. So this all took place in like fifteen minutes or so.

I felt used. And cheap. But not as cheap and used as my shower felt.

'Sposed to cook her supper later tonight. Not the first time she will have eaten my cooking, but, the first time I will have cooked just for her. I'm thinking venison tenderloin medallions with sauteed onions and those little red potatoes for me, and a cold potato on a plate for her.

Until she shows up, and you give her your plate.

It's funny because it's true.

Yeah - a bit TMI, even for me.

Why, in fact Carly Simon said "These are the good old days," in her song "Anticipation," which she wrote while waiting for a certain someone to meet her for a date; he was running late.

We can never know about the days to come
But we think about them anyway, yay
And I wonder if I'm really with you now
Or just chasin' after some finer day

Anticipation, anticipation
Is makin' me late
Is keepin' me waitin'

And I tell you how easy it feels to be with you
And how right your arms feel around me
But I, I rehearsed those lines just late last night
When I was thinkin' about how right tonight might be

Anticipation, anticipation
Is makin' me late
Is keepin' me waitin'

And tomorrow we might not be together
I'm no prophet and I don't know nature's ways
So I'll try and see into your eyes right now
And stay right here 'cause these are the good old days

That certain someone was Cat Stevens.

Forget Kevin Bacon. I'm playing "Six Degrees of Cat Stevens." It's uncanny what the sexually frustrated can do with their time.

Cat Stevens - you mean Yusuf.
