Nov 7, 2010: Guard Liger
Nobody's getting these sweet potatoes, damn it.
Quote:
A liger, the hybrid offspring of a male lion and a tigress, guards a vegetable field while its owners pick sweet potatoes at Wuqiao Acrobatic World in Cangzhou, North China's Hebei province, Oct 27, 2010. Visitors can often be found picking from the field, which was opened by acrobats and employees of the scenic spot. They keep a four-month-old non-aggressive liger to help keep visitors away. Doesn't look very intimidating now, but I imagine in a few months it will be quite another matter. Now the acrobats and employees, of Wuqiao Acrobatic World, have this bigass garden to feed themselves, I wonder if the Liger has to fend for itself, also?
These things get huge, and most Chinese don't have a lot of meat on them, so that could be a peasant-a-day habit. :eek3:
