Real or Not?

I just saw this vid (following a 30 second ad) on Yahoo! News Video. Something is just not right with the ending of this vid. A vehicle in front of woman, who happens to have a dashboard video camera in her minivan, hits a 2x4 lying on the shoulder of the road, and sends it flying through her windshield.

Here's the part I find 'just not quite right':

She doesn't make a sound. Not "Ugh!", not "OHSHIT!", nothing. Being honest now, would you not have made some noticeable sound? I woulda screamed like a little girl. And, she makes a complete stop in, like, three seconds. Granted, I don't know how fast they were going, but, you'd have to be moving at a fair clip to flip a six-eight foot 2x4 high enough to go through a windshield. But, I would think it would take longer than that to stop, even at less-than-highway speeds.

Real, or not?

It sounds like she is muttering "oh jesus oh jesus" right after the tire screech.
The car didn't stop either, it's still moving though slowly.

I don't like to be following too close behind a large vehicle that I can't see around. It's hard to tell if she's too close or at a reasonable distance. Zoom lenses can compress distances and wide angle lenses can make things look farther away than they really are. One thing I can say is that driving in traffic while holding a video camera isn't safe.

I had a full 4x8 sheet of ply wood come off a truck infront of me once at hiway speeds ,
it hit the ground , Flared up from the wind ,
glanced off My Hood ,
went over my truck and NAILED the Honda Civic behind me right in the Grill ,
Chunks of Plastic and radiator went flying EVERY where ,
Dude Litterly Peed him self !!!

I once lost my entire load of 20 foot 2x16s (about a dozen) on I 95 in CT near Stamford. It was a miracle no one was injured. I was so freaked out I backed over a two posted road sign and flattened it.

Three 18 wheelers blocked all the lanes of traffic long enough for me to load it all back on my truck and then I got the hell out of dodge before the coppers arrived.

Did not pee myself, but I was shaking like a leaf

This one time, on I-65, I lost my load, thank God there was no cargo involved.

True story.
