Well I guess Petraeus would be a great choice for the CIA.

On the other hand, Panetta as the Sec of Defense is BS. This fool has no business as SOD as much as he did as DOI. The fool is nothing more than a political hack with minimal experience. Few respect him on the inside.

I am only a guest in this country, but if I may be permitted an opinion:

General Petraeus will be wasted at the CIA, which is world famous for incompetence. It would have been perhaps wiser to leave Panetta, who is apparently a purely political creature, in charge of the CIA, and put General Petraeus in charge of the department of defense, a position for which he is qualified.
