when were you conceived...

ok, none of us care about when YOUR kids were conceived... we don't want to know about your filthy perverted habits...

now... about your parents...

when were you conceived... find out using this calculator ( forget about the year... unless you were born after year 2000 )

my own birthday is in early January so apparently I'm an April Fools Baby.

It so happens I know this from a family anecdote. Because he was part of the army of occupation and served as a guard at the Nuremburg Trials my dad didn't return home from WW2 until 1946.

That was the first time post-war that many of the population celebrated November 5th, Guy Fawkes night, largely because the makings of fireworks weren't available and blackout regulations actually stayed in force until late in 1945. My mother later related to her sister that after a pint of bitter and a night of bonfires and fireworks my dad had 'gone off like a rocket'!!

My birthday? July 13th 1947

*L*, nice story..

p.s.. one of my uncles ( long since gone ... RIP ) was sent by his regiment (North Nova Scotia Highlanders ) as an official observer to Nuremburg.

My dad's long gone too but one of his duties included guarding Hesse, who was later the sole occupant of Spandau Prison, where in the 1970s he was guarded by my kid brother who followed dad into the services.

again.... nice story...either an amazing coincidence.... or your kid brother fought for that posting.

another p.s... 'ave a cider for me please.

( one of my first trips thru the west country.. couldn't tell you if it were Somerset or Devon an old boy in a pub heard my American accent and bought me a beer. He then went on to explain that when he was a 'wee lad the American soldiers stationed in his village used to give him chocolates. Buying me a pint was his way of "paying forward" )

I was conceived on fathers day or there abouts.

I guess Dad got what he asked for that night. lol

I was conceived end of September, beginning of October.
My sister was six months old, and Mum had been using breast feeding as contraception...

I've yet to be completely convinced.

Mid-April for me.

Spring was in the air, apparently.

My niece was unplanned.
My sister and BIL had a romping New Year, and my sister believed she was pregnant because she forgot her pill.
So she stopped taking it, thinking it might harm her baby.
Turns out she really conceived about three weeks later...

My nephew was most likely conceived the night of my wedding - niece was shattered and zonked out. First opportunity they'd had in a while (due to previous unplannedness they lived in a one bedroom flat).

Both anecdotal, but I'm pretty sure the dates add up.

From what I can tell, my conception was immaculate.

Sundae 09-16-2011 02:36 PM

You do realise that that makes you the Virgin Mary, not Jebus, don't you?
