late to the party.... here are some of the cakes I have made (in no particular order)

thanks. I always meant to do this but was nudged by lola because I'm giving frosting advice with no evident qualifications! Trying to find a picture of the Jello aquarium cake........

eta: Do you have the Womans Day birthday cake book monster? I recognise a couple of your cakes from there.

So The Thomas and Barbie cakes were 01, I did a better Thomas cake in 02 but the only picture I have is poorly lit and grainy :( and no pictures of hebe and Thor's cakes. that must've been a between cameras/restorted to film year....

03 was the aircraft carrier, and then Bob and the Snowflake cake:

I got better with the fondant icing as I got better at ceramics. The two are very similar mediums to work with,

maybe they copied from me? I should sue.....

04 was Shark, Whodunnit and Batman....

oh and I made the plate the batman cake is on.... it looks much cooler in that pic than IRL

Yay! We made it to the aquarium cake! My proudest cake moment. I think....

blue jello with suspended fish on a yellow sponge base......

07 and 08: Pirate treasure island totally revisited, Knights, Train and Aquarium (Hebe stopped having themed cakes by this point....)

(someday I will scan the photos of the cakes I did for beest when we were at Uni...)
