raising children, by slang

The pic sums up the slang philosophy. Anyone agree?

My own theory of childrearing, based on years of experience in committing other people's problem children is relatively straightforward.

In the early years, children should be loved, fed, and nurtured. Then they go mobile and get out of diapers.

From that point on, until the age of 25, kids should be kept in a box or moderately sized closet.

Food and other items may be introduced into the enclosure as necessary.

I like Titus's take on childhood trauma: Get down off your cross, build a bridge, and get over it.

"When I was a child..." has been used as a pretty lame excuse for some equally lame adults. It's 15 minutes of shame/fame on Oprah.

My personal excuse for myself is that I didn't get enough sleep in High School, so I', makin' up for it. :D
