Should Evolution Be Taught In Schools?

Subtitle - you can watch this if you like earnest beauty queens.

This is the original video that was manipulated on YouTube to ask Should Math Be Taught in Schools?
I find the original equally bizarre.

I don't mean to labour the point, but living in a country with an official religion and a Protector of the Faith, it never fails to amaze me how deeply conservative and fundemental so many Americans are.

Had this question been asked in Britain, there would not have been a single No. Anyone who denied evolution would have been weeded out way before this stage as being dangerously likely to offend (in respect of the public duties required of the title).

How about also teaching that the South really did win the Civil War as an alternate point of view.

Actually, considering that most of the anti-evolutionists were from southern states, it could be argued that the Confederacy did successfully secede from the union in some ways.

Maybe they use cartoons as educational videos in the south -I mean, how do the evolutionists explain the Flint Stones? Were there dinosaurs in the civil war?

Don't they already? Isn't it just a logical extension of whatever religious education is supplied?
