These are fake eyelashes made out of fly legs, by Jessica Harrison.

Looking through her site is an adventure in the land of Strange. She is very creative and very diverse in her art.

There are so many other works that I recommend taking a look at, but these two in particular are, um, interesting: Annunciation (center image) and Medusa (center row, far right).

I'm against that.

There was a girl in HS, nice girl, but she put 15 tons of mascara on so that her eyelashes really did look like spider legs.

And...yeah, no.

Who wants to walk around all bug-eyed all the time?

Considering what flies walk in, eat and do all day long, how does she prevent an incredible, damaging infection?
