They don't even deserve the airtime that they get.

If people would just leave them alone and not report on their nonsense, they'd slink back into the obscurity in which they belong. Their power is in your deigning to notice them.

They won't show. Their M.O. anymore is to just SAY they are coming. Then everyone talks about it and they're on the news. All without even getting in their vehicles. The news organizations should just stop running the stories and they will go away. They are getting exactly what they want. Attention.

Not showing up is a lot cheaper. Regardless of government protestations to the contrary, this is a down economy. Even wackjob protesters are cutting corners these days.

I could happily drive a car through any Westboro Church demonstration, mowing 'em down like weeds.

Not because of any of their beliefs/opinions. As fucked up as they are, they're entitled to their opinions.

But don't try to shove your opinions down my throat. I don't give a fuck what you think. Really.

That would wipe out the whole church at once. Hmm...
