Why Do People With Closed Minds Always Open There Mouths!
 

I think every human being wants a few things that they do not always get. For Instance; Money, Attention and Fame. Everybody wants to rule the world. Unfortunately there can be only ONE Commander and Chief. Not everyone has the opportunity to be the boss and people in general have a need to feel important. Me, myself I just want to be accepted as an artist. ANd there are a-lot of different artist out there and it's easy to get confused with the mark I make on society and the other artist who are making an impact. I think artist have a responsibility to create a human atmosphere. Now grant it I don't have the education of a TRUE artist and I am not really professional with my art. However It is very disturbing to have to cohere to these Gansta Rappers who basically are all about the money. It's like cut throat poker, they MIGHT be happy IF they get the money but they won't be happy UNLESS they get the Money. ANd it really takes the fun out of art. So the question I'm raising is this; How do we get back to the days when ART was a celebration of life and not a bunch of Criminals trying to Kill each other??

I don't want to rule the world. Imagine all the responsibility.
Fame would be awful as well, people paying attention to you all the time. Can't think of anything worse.
Lots of money would be great though.

Was there ever a time when art was like you say? I am always wary of the glorification of the past relative to the present. I don't know much about art, maybe there was, somewhere in the world.

Right now, I would say, you're not going to change the world, or why other people do what they do. But art can mean to you whatever you want it to mean.

Yeah, I don't want to rule anything. I don't want to be famous. To have the money to live a life like I'd prefer...that wouldn't be so bad.

And art is whatever you want it to mean. What speaks to me might not speak to you, or you, or you.

Somewhat.. I think in the past that I left behind my mind was very closed.. but now I try to see the good in everything..
