Children of Satan Vs Children of God.
 

A random thought of a callus of wickedness that runs deed within the bones of the dead?? Not quite!! Who are Gods Children?? The answer is defined by the way one lives there life. I can claim to be a Christian, and yes I believe Christians are Gods Children. Just as well as Jews are Gods Chosen people, but only the ones who make it to Heaven are actually Gods Children. What makes the difference in some one who is Hell Bound (Satan's Children). VS Someone who is Heaven Bound (God's Children). I think it's as simple as Black and White. I can believe in a lie or I can believe in truth. God is The Truth, and the truth never lies. So Now, I find my self struggling with a lying spirit. The lie is that I am Satan's Child. The Truth is Jesus Loves ME Just as Much as he loves anyone else. It's a matter of who do I believe an how do I discern these spirits that I am being troubled with. I believe that in the past that I left behind I was heading down a highway to hell. Now I am getting off that highway and turning around. "180degrees" it's called REPENTANCE. So where do you stand as Satan's Child or God's Child. It's a disturbing question to ask as well as a disturbing question to answer so why don't you give it a try.

If the truth is that Jesus loves me just as much as everyone else, and he died for everyone...then the question is irrelevant.

Not necessarily, you have a choice in the matter, you don't have to believe it. Have you ever read the book of revelation?? Not everyone makes it to heaven my friend. There is a certain amount of discipline that comes with the territory.

you'd still know right from wrong, wouldn't you? You'd still recognize Evil in people's deeds, and Good.

Do the labels make a difference?

I think of it like a branching path. you begin your life in the center. you're neither good or evil. you make decisions as they come. each decision lies on one side or the other of the path, to varying degrees. the more decisions you make that lie on the side of evil, the more likely you are to continue to make those choices.

You may encounter some major event or philosophy that teaches you that you've been going the wrong way, and then you begin making the right choices... finding your way back to the 'good' side.

your struggles, JB, seem rooted in the fictional aspects of the Xtian religion. It's all allegory. Just do the right thing, and forget about the labels.

JB, I told you not to get all hung up on the Book of Revelation and stuff like that. It isn't good for you. Focus more on the gospels and Jesus and his message of love. And keep reading widely - human interest things, novels, maybe a bit of history or popular science.

JB, you seem to have quite a lot invested in whether other people go to heaven. I think that this part:

is what you need to focus on. If you are struggling with feelings of self-worth, explore that and by all means rely on God's love to lift you up. But quit worrying about Satan, and quit thinking about which other groups of people might or might not be in heaven with you.

I think you have to consider that I've been "sweating blood" over this.. and now everyone thinks I'm this pathetic pig stench, but the insecurity is just so intense that I find myself in a situation where my nightmares are controlling me. I dunno apparently this is all stereotypical of a skitzofrientic so I am learning to deal with it... yea of coarse you reap what you sew and I have sewed some ungodly seeds so maybe the false hood will dissipate now that I have gotten myself into a situation where I am stable.

the fact this thread hasn't being trolled to death and flamed on a crucifix in the two days since its creation is a testimony to the tolerance of the community (or the inactivity).
