Should be a gorgeous day. I've seen him at this venue, and it was really nice. Kind of like the Mann, but bigger.

we will be tailgating from about 2:30 on... I know it's last minute, so if you're light on cash, I can front you and wait for payment if you really want to go.

well, it WAS a gorgeous day... hot but low humility, and a nice breeze. we tailgated for 3-4 hours, played hackey sack with some parking lot neighbors:

and in the process, tore my shorts from the TOP of the zipper down to the cuff seam. so glad I wasn't freeballing. as it was, I was drunk enough not to care.

We were so packed into that PIT area, that no one could see my junk anyway.


Music was excellent, hypnotic, groovy, as usual. Closest thing to a Dead Concert going at this point, I think.

Glad you had a great time. My son said it was awesome (even better than the first night). He also said to say thanks again for the tix.

about halfway through, I was wishing we had sold him the PIT tix. It was jam packed in there. If it had been as hot as it's going to be Friday... I think I would have bailed.
