Bunions

Has anyone had bunions removed? Working 30+ years on my feet, and I'm looking at 5 months off starting this January. Every one I know, holds their breath before candy coating someone's experience. Thanks!

Bunions... one of those things that sounds better than it is

Whelp, I had a big post written out, then I went to webmd. Apparently my podiatrist wasn't exactly accurate years ago when she described it to me.

ANYWAYS. She did tell me that I could get surgery to correct the bunion, but there was no guarantee that it wouldn't occur again. I was in so much pain, I couldn't really walk, so she gave me some high grade ibuprofen and sent me to make a decision. The ibuprofen worked and I opted not to have it. I really don't have many issues with mine, but I am not on my feet all day. Unless someone tries to give me a foot rub.......I hate that.
