http://cellar.org/2013/cabin_mirror.png http://cellar.org/2013/cabin_before.png Phillip K. Smith, III, took a 90 year old cabin in the desert and transformed it into an amazing art exhibit. It is all about slowing down, being quiet and watching change take place. First he added mirrors that reflect the desert around the structure. Then he added interior LED light that slowly rotates through the color wheel. via Seventology |
I like the floating roof effect of the mirrors.

The daylight photos reminds me of the Bob Shaw story with "Slow Glass". I believe the story name is ~"Light of Other Days".
I am truly impressed that this art work was able to reivive old memories of another time. Thank you. |
