Snap circuits are already out there, and are really cool too. Possibly cooler, because I think you can combine them in more ways.

Anyone working with electronics is strongly advised to get this most useful tool. A solderless breadboard such as GS-830 from Global Specialties. An equivalent one is even available in Radio Shack.
