Attachment 48876 Gyroscopic Shaver Needs No Battery...No Electricity...Just Pull its Cord and You're off to a Radiation-Free Shaving Experience. Our new Gyroscopic Shaver is very simple to use to use. Pull the cord and set the razor to a speed of 15,000 rpm. That is about 4 times faster than a regular battery operated shaver. It has a built -in 3 self-sharpening steel blades housed behind its ultra-thin shaving dome, giving you a clean, close shave every time...and anywhere. |
Mostly wet, I bet. But only because that's all they see ads for. Most are going to do what their dads do as well.
I'll be setting my son up with an electric. He'll be a rare breed, which can be traumatic for a teen. But I'll be damned if I get sucked in to that wet disposable razor scam just so he can be like his friends. |
Did electric shavers ever get any better? My Dad always shaved with electric but I never liked the feeling of having the top layer of skin brush burned to a pink glow. I prefer a wet shave.
|
Nope. You still get the burn. A little splash of water after makes the burn stop.

There was a huge difference in performance, feel, and collateral damage, between the high end and cut rate electrics, but my up-close & personal information is very old.

beest wet shaves, but somehow it seems excessive for the bumfluff that actually starts to become visible without microscope ;) anyone actually been through this recently? I think when we were kids they started with electric, but I didn't care enough to pay attention :/ Mind you, so did some of the girls and I don't think anyone shaves their legs with an electric any more, do they? or pits *shudder*

Aden and Mav both wet shave, although Aden wants and electric shaver, which he may get for his birthday on Friday if I have time to go to the shops before then.

Find out what Big V does. If it'll cut those whiskers, you can use it to trim the hedges out back...
Myself I knock the growth down with a beard trimmer, then wet shave w/cheap disposables. When I shave. I shave about three times a year, whether I need it or not. |
