Seems a funny kind of "wilderness."

Long time ago, saw a definite fail at this location. Brakes gave out on the way down. Interesting to see a new rectangular truck turned into a round lump.

How do you define wilderness? When it takes 9 days to drive specially prepared vehicles 8.5 miles and the alternative is helicopter or shanks mare, I'd call that wilderness. I've seen a lot of official US Government grade A prime wilderness in Alaska, that had roads through it you could drive an ordinary pick-up on, which is more than this has.

I remember that, although they probably had five point harnesses and roll bars, it's a miracle nobody was killed.
