This time it's the US vs Canada.

If you look at them in Google Earth, they look like they belong to the US to me.

In fact, Grand Manan Island should be part of the USA too. WTF is it doing as part of Canada?

Hmmm. It's not really a new reason for war with Canada.

Prudent Beaudry, a Mayor of Los Angeles, came close in the 1860's
when he set about to "annex" Canada into the U.S. over water sources.
(This "forceful" idea has re-appeared in California politics several times since then.)

...and more recently Donald Rumsfeld publicized the right of the US
to position troops anywhere in Canada based on US war plans initiated in post-WW II.

Why is Staten Island part of NY. It also should be part of New Jersey. But these decisions were made long ago. Why are some trying to make trouble in the Rush Limbaugh tradition rather than creating solutions?

Once upon a time, America and Canada got along quite nicely. Then wacko extremists (ie Cheney) even saw evil terrorists coming from Canada. The fact that reality contradicts wacko extremist fears somehow always gets ignored.

What does an evil Canuck look like. I know he must be evil because the word Canuck sounds evil. Therefore Canucks must be allies of Al Qaeda.
