Women Watch Porn

Women watch porn. Everybody knows that, although many won't admit it, all women secretly watch porn... except mom. :haha:
Now we have data from that eminently reliable and prestigious source...PornHub/REDtube. The results of tracking women viewers produced these charts. |

So glad the cartoons are on low demands - I can not live up to the unrealistic standards set by Japanese tentacle monsters.
Actually the one that surprises me the most is James Deen. Really? |

James Deen looks... Kind of.. I don't know... Normal. He isn't unattractive, but plenty of porn actors look more attractive. In comparison he kind of looks like regular Joe. |
Based upon the above graphs, the #1 female fantasy is lesbian sex with Kim Kardashian while watching gay (male) porn?
|
So.. What is the context?
I mean, I kind of get the feeling this is some sort of victory in an argument I had no idea was happening, and I am not entirely sure what that argument was, what was the other side of it? Was it that women read erotic lit vs. male watch porn? Would a counter argument be "ahuh, but men read erotic lit too!"? Or was it "Ew no porn is gross only men are such perverts"? What's the history here? Who was arguing women don't watch porn? |
I think the context is just that culturally we tend to think of porn as something guys are into but not women.
|
Huh, possibly.
If there was a gender stereotype about masturbation habits I'd be biased about is that men are probably still less likely to use sex toys. At the very least I have never seen anyone pull out a fleshlight as a present in a bachelor party. |
Have you actually seen a woman pull out a dildo at a bachelorette party either?
|
Yes actually (They did it in a restaurant-bar I worked in). But from what I hear it's common enough cliche that a party where it doesn't happen becomes a topic of conversation.
|
I always figured it was a media cliche, not a real world one. I've never seen sex toys or strippers at a bachelorette party. I did go to a wedding once where the groomsmen had decorated the couple's get away car with condoms, that was pretty weird.
|
Hen nights (bacholorette parties) are about the only context in which that sort of thing would happen.
But it's pretty much always a joke present. They're not actually giving her something to use. It's a big laugh because it's rude. as an aside: Men don't really need sex toys - they have hands and everything is readily accessible :p |
