Good times. We're trying to get that backpacking mojo back. We camped on the trail to Sawteeth, there is a sweetspot between the private land and the elevation limit where we set up. It's in an area where most folks are doing day hikes but it was actually pretty quiet on the trail. We did like 15 miles of hiking all told, not breaking any records just getting our feet back into it. Pete did like half the 46ers with her Dad as a kid so we're gonna chip a way at those. He's done the 46 2 1/2 times but is reaching a physical state where he doesn't see it happening again. He did climb to a peak like 3 weeks ago which as an 80 year old dude is damn impressive.

After hiking such a peak you are allowed to go to the Noonmark Diner in Keene Valley for meat.
