Actually, it's a brilliantly sunny day here. I've had to close the curtains so I can see the screen! :)

It was so friggin dark on my way home from work yesterday at 5pm.

It's only going to get darker for the next couple weeks and then it will start getting lighter again, but it will be over a month before it's as light as it is today. Ugh.

We had a couple of nice sunny spells - in between the relentless downpour.

I hate the dark mornings and early dusk. I get up at 5:30 on a workday and am walking Carrot on the back lane by 6:15 - moonlit.

It just starts getting light as I get into town for the second of my three buses.

I leave work at about 2:40 - by the time I get on the third and last bus, it's all but full dark.

I use to hate that in High School, catch the bus in the dark and get home in the dark. Of course there were chores to do before and after.
Maybe that's why I've spent the rest of my life in the dark. :lol2:

Some years ago, I spent most of the winter working in an underground bunker in NE Scotland, about 58N.

I got up in the dark, worked all day in the dark and went home in the dark.

I ended up with eyes like a bush baby.

Bush Baby? You mean you're in line to be president of the United States? Cool. :thumb:
