Feb 15th, 2017: Russian Beach
The beach near the city of Vladivostok, Russia, was created in much the same way as MacKerricher State
Park beach, near Fort Bragg, California. Damn commie copycats. http://cellar.org/2012/bwekk.gif http://cellar.org/2017/glassbeach2.jpg Trash dumped on the beach was pounded by the ocean until only small pieces of glass remained. In Russia it was mostly by a local porcelain factory, or so the story goes. According to another version, the waste glass products were washed away by the river and then swept into the sea. http://cellar.org/2017/glass-beach-Russia2.jpg No matter how the trash got there, Mother Nature cleaned up after our sorry asses.
