The Larsen Company perpetrated a dastardly deed on the American people in 1959. Plain and simple treachery is what it was.
Hiding behind their front company shill, Layer-Pak, they introduced these cans to trick good god fearing homemakers and faithful loving wives.
Trick them into buying Lima beans, nobody would buy otherwise.
This betrayal of trust probably led to the turbulence of the '60s. :yesnod:
