Sept 28th, 2017: Teardown

Rip it down, split it up, yay team.
My buddy bought a small place on a double lot at the southern Delaware shore.
He made the small place a very nice big place, being Italian, with a kitchen in the basement.
If something happened to the house he'd split it back into 2 lots and sell them for a half million plus each.
That blew my mind, but this tops that by a lot.

Of course Dmitry Yevgenyevich Rybolovlev had it for ten years so it was probably worn out anyway.

The houses at that link mostly don't appeal to me, except the on eon the French Riviera. That one is situated nicely in its environment.

Although my memory of driving through there is that the traffic is bad. You would have to send the help on all errands while you just stayed home.

I don't know how I could spend 10 or 20 million dollars to build a house that had everything I wanted and nothing I didn't, without building it from precious metals. I guess most of it is to impress others.
