A very interesting book! And having this online shows this author IS JUST NOT WANTING $$$!! They have the book ONLINE so you can read it :) |
OMG, there is so much truth and good thinking at Dude's link I want to squeeee. :joylove:
All those glimmers of rational thinking that flash fleetingly through the day to day gloom, gathered together like a Teddy Bear's picnic. |
I bought it back in the day so y'all can read it freely knowing that I paid money and would have lent it to you if you liked.
My friend Ken Krawchuk is again running for PA Governor on the platform of Separation of Society and State You may vote for him in 2018 if you prefer. I no longer vote |
But it's better reading it online than having a hard copy, that way I can remember what I agree with and not the rest. :haha:

Playing devil's advocate here. Can I think of a situation where it's bad for consenting adults to be doing something?
There is a concept in law that if consent is made under duress, then it isn't really consent. Even if they are emphatically telling you they consent. Think about prostitution. This book (admittedly I haven't read the whole thing) would probably argue that if the adult prostitute and the john consent to the activity and the business relationship, then all is good. But if you learn the back story of the prostitute, you would virtually always find someone who is in a desperate situation who really doesn't want to be turning tricks but is trapped. Trapped either by a violent pimp or trapped just by financial situations and few options. Nobody wants to grow up to be a prostitute. |
If it was legal there would be no need for violent pimps, they would fade away like beer bootleggers after prohibition. If a woman had no other opportunities it may not be her first, or ninety first choice, however it would be a safer alternative for employment/self-employment than it is now.

Then again, who grows up wanting to be a garbage man, either?
