Jan 20th, 2018 : Runaway Pets

Have you or a friend or family member had a pet disappear, never to be seen again?
You’re sure the worst has happened, kidnapped and spirited away to a medical lab, crushed by a steamroller, sucked into a jet engine.

Surely they’d come home if they could because the love you as much as you love them… when you’re home.

Sure you love Fido, but have you ever wondered what he named you?
How about Puss n Boots, have you bothered to find out what she calls you… behind your back?

Few humans know about the underground railroad that lets pet escape to sea.

Some times into the military but more often a commercial vessel.

I suggest you don't let you pets take swimming lessons. http://cellar.org/2012/nono.gif

I didn't know he did such funny stuff. Don't watch enough TV, I guess.

Oh he is a very funny guy. Brilliant writer too. I've liked most of what he has done on tv, and some of his movie outings. I really loved The Invention of Lying (which he co-wrote, co-directed and starred in) - that was a cool little film. The original Office was sharp as a tack. Extras was brilliantly observed. The more recent tv series he did, Derek, was a gentle and rather sweet affair.

He was already huge in the UK before he started getting known in the US

Also - one of the pioneers of podcasting.

But I think his stand up is some of his best work.

I loved his podcasts with Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington. Only because he obviously loves Pilkington, and so even though he is laughing AT Pilkington, and says that Pilkington has a head like a fucking orange, you feel like they are mates.

Yeah. It's like we all have a mate like that.
