A sick flamingo is brought to the shores of the Lake Bogoria National Park, Kenya, for a blood sample. A mysterious wave of flamingo deaths has struck Kenya, reviving fears that pollution is menacing the future of the majestic pink birds. Scores of dead flamingos were found strewn on the shores of two lakes in western Kenya last month, after large numbers of the birds began perishing three months ago.
