A Lonely Girl
I'm lonely and need a friend to speak with. I've sent you all a message but no return. Will anyone speak with me?
|
Sure. What's your name mean?
|
My login? Well if thats what you mean then.....
At my school we have ids that get us on the computer or get us lunch, this is the number thats at the bottom of mine. Its easier remember 1 login than 5 different ones! |
Fair enough. What are the first and middle names listed on your birth certificate?
I was born July 8 as well, though 5 years earlier. |
April Yvonne, why do you ask?
|
Just to get to know more about you.
Describe yourself in eight words. And... how did you stumble upon The Cellar? |
Well my English 4 teacher has a forum site that got blocked by the school b/c it was a message board. So I went to Yahoo, and typed in forums/message boards. This was THE ONLY ONE that would work so this is what I do in my free time.
Myself in 8 words... pretty nice fat geek lovable cuddly amazing... I can't think of another one. Help me out. |
So why are you lonely?
|
Well just that my friends are slipping away from me. You know that one kid that sits all alone at lunch and everyone is laughing at him? Thats me. So I come to the forums to find life. Crazy?
|
You really sit alone at lunch?
Don't sweat high school. Keep your grades up, snag a degree and show the world who's boss. I never sat alone at lunch, 'cause I always sat with my sister. Believe it or not, I'm pretty enjoyable to be around most of the time, so we had a pretty large group of friends who we hung out with. And the class that I had lunch during was taught by a <a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=%22robert+foor-hogue%22&sourceid=mozilla-search&start=0&start=0">friend/mentor</a>, so I could basically come and go as I pleased (which meant, of course, that I always ate with my sister). Good times. Friends will come and go. That's the way of it, unfortunately. You'll find a few that will stick around for the long haul. |
Yes I sit alone. I'm the nerd who will make the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ so they can hate all they want!

I had a pretty decent time in high school - i.e., I kept myself occupied, never had much idle time and managed to cover all the bases (I think - varsity sports, music, parties, proms, drugs & alcohol).
I have no problems making friends - I'm really easy to get along with, always have something interesting to talk about, don't flake out on plans and party like John Belusi on Animal House. What I discovered by the end of high school was that what my mom had been telling me for years was true: Drinking buddies aren't really friends. So, in short, my real friends emerged through the chaos as we all transitioned to college. I don't have too many; I don't particularly like that and I've been trying to figure out why that keeps happening. I've been so loyal to so many people, but few ppl seem to acknowledge that - hence I stop playing "friends" with them. High school is tough - socially, academically, mentally, physically. Find your interests and invest a lot of time in them - give yourself an identity. I tried to be what other people were looking for, when I should have been looking for people that had similar interests. |
Thanks that helps!

Join the theatre. Maybe I'm biased, but theatre geeks are the coolest bunch of people there are in high school. And not a one of them will likely care too much if you're awkward, because they are too.

I know people in there! True true!
