Computer disposal issue

I have two monitors and a printer that I need to get rid of--they either no longer work or do not function properly. What would you all recommend in terms of disposal? They don't seem like items you would just throw in the dumpster.

Washington DC has hazardous materials pickups every 6 months to a year. You have to pay a certain amount per diagonal inch for CRTs. Other areas may have similar programs.

Apparently, while you can just dump out computer items in PA, the state offers specific disposal/recycling dates for them...including one coming up on April 24 in the Philadelphia suburbs. I can hold off putting them out until then.

Toad, if you want the Iiyama back, let me know. Otherwise, it's going with the other stuff I'm taking to the event.

Please, be my guest and dispose of it properly... and then tell me where I can get rid of the rest of my graveyard of computer stuff.

This is a list of the '04 household and hazardous waste events...note the ones that are accepting computer items. The one April 24 is at the Tredyffrin Township building.
