My Dad has this birth defect, a smaller right hand with only one knuckle per digit. And so does Radar O'Reilly (Gary Burgdorf I think. ) It was my Dad that noticed it on MASH. I watched that show for years and missed it. Radar sort of covers it with clipboards and such. Ironically its the reason my Dad wasnt sent to Korea.

I think its the picture. Rum does have an interesting way of holding his hands when he talks though.

That must be a fairly common birth defect. A lot of guys our age seem to have it. What was that drug they were giving Moms back then? I think German measles was linked as well.

the strange thing about that pic of rummy is that while his hands and fingers are small, his nostrils appear to be quite large. he must wear gloves when he picks his nose. germophobe.
