Here are some things for you to look at. They arent really quality images but are more interesting to watch than paint drying.

These are of the host of my new, soon to be released website gunslanger.com, he will be the "gunslanger". When complete, he'll be totally IK capable, star in animation clips for entertainment and instruction, be free of jagged cuts on his skin that need to be sewn, and.....he wont be naked.

I'll soon have the service to make this type of thing up and running, so that the 2 people on the planet that would actually spend money on animations can leave specs and technical requirements for a quote.

I can't get the clips to play...what codec do I need? I wanna see these! I had no idea you were doing 3D modeling, you dog. How cool!

Sorry Ep. I thought for sure they would play in a variety or formats.

They are AVIs , so they should play without a problem as far as I know. I use either Real, WinMP, or Quicktime.

Is anyone else having troubles viewing the clips? I dont know what else I can do to fix the problem. Maybe if you were to look for updates for your brand of player, Ep.

Once I get finished with the gunslanger dude, I could problably make a copy, rip his muscles out....stuff some more brains in his head, make him some trendy clothing and put a guitar in his hands.

I wonder if anyone in a band might be interested in a music video?

Did I mention I could make the penis of the character enormous? Elephant-like even.

I downloaded the short clip but it won't play. Unknown Error, it says.
I can't down load the long clip. IE says it can't be found. :(

I've been working with Wolf on this problem and think I have it ironed out. She says they can be opened without saving them to your hard drive but if they dont seem to work, try saving the target link as.

This is an assembly type (5 mb) file for a ficticious mechanism

This is an 8 mb file that shows a walk around a piano



On the first one, I did all the modeling and the actual clip inputs. The texturing, shapes, camera pan and the co-ordination of the moving parts....that's all me, although it isnt really polished for mass comsumption.


The second one, the piano was included with a library of models that I bought with the program. I set up the walkaround sequence and the lighting, put the floor in and the tiles and made the clip. The model was not done by me, but I could make it if I had enough time. I've been trying to get some clips as examples to show and the interface for this program is complicated and different than the modeling program I spent 13 years mastering.

I'll keep my eye on this thread. I think these clips are interesting and if there are any more problems, I'll look further into why you cannot see them.

Please tell me I dont have to worry about *everyone* thinking that the assy clip is somehow pornographic, I spent a lot of time on it and would like to use it as a demo.

I also would like to pipe up and express my admiration for the work that Slang is doing. A fascinating pursuit, and one which I hope he will soon find to be a means of support. Go Slang!

This next clip is called "Starving to death in the street, broke and lonely" , starring a delusional, emaciated slang-looking character.

The opening scene is one of slang hard at work creating animations that no one is interested in actually paying money for, but enjoy seeing becuase they like slang and think the vids are cool.

The ending scene is one of a phone ringing as the last slang's last remaining possessions are being pawned off for a fraction of their value to keep the electric on.

slang struggles to muster the strength to lift the phone off the hook.

slang: What have I been up to? Besides working shit jobs for less than poverty wages with felons ....and losing 40 lbs from starvation? Not much. I'm about 6 inches from completing another degree but cant afford the books and course fees, of course I'd be interested in a contract.
