It's Election Day and the Circus is in town!
I've got an incredibly busy day tomorrow so i will be at my polling place when it opens at 6 so that i don't have to worry about it later.
We have had a lot of discussions and insult contests over who should be elected and now the time has finally come. the votes will be cast tomorrow and within a month or two we will know who will be the president for the next four years (barring any Radar-esque assassination plots). We will each cast our vote for the man we feel is most prepared and able to lead us over through the events of the next four years. we all have our reasons for believing the way we do. although our views our different, they are all equally valid. regardless of who is elected tomorrow, there will be millions of people pissing and moaning over the impending doom awaiting our nation. but it is impossible to accurately see all of the implications of political decisions during our own time. my hope is that the history books when they are written 20,30,40 years from now will show that Americans selected the right man for the job on November 2nd, 2004. and on that note - good luck to all involved - now quit reading and go vote. |
