1/28/2005: Goose and goat mate
http://cellar.org/2004/goatandgoose.jpg
Put this one in the "SAPPY" category. The owners of this goat in Napa, CA say that the male goose here landed with the herd a few years ago, settled on this one female goat and never left her side. The question is why she puts up with him, but I'm sure she's deaf by now. |
Yup, I've got a goat and a horse that have bonded in the same manner. They both get a bit freaked out if they are not in visual contact.
|
wonder what the goose does if another boy goat tries to hit on her?
|
I always wondered why goat's poop comes out like little marbles. They don't poop them out one at a time. It's like a trap door opens and they just come pouring out. I don't get it.

When I first looked at the picture I would've sworn the female was the one with it's mouth open doing the yapping.

How do they know it is a male goose? Did they look under it's feathers? Geese don't have different plumage based on sex; that is, in most bird species the male will be the colorful one with the bright plumage and the female the more subtle earth tone colored one. |
Maybe it don't lay eggs.

Hmm looks a bit like my husband trying to get a point across to me when I don't feel like hearing it
