Tipping

FootFoot agreed to send me back my 28 day print last week. He refused reimbursement, and suggested I tip the Cellar.

A Cellarite who asked to remain anonymous recently gave me Phillies tickets and refused any payment.

In honor of these two fine gentlemen, I have made a small donation to the Cellar.

Thanks guys. :thankyou:

for some reason i expected to see a picture of you in a field with some disgruntled cows.

elSicomoro 06-02-2005 10:55 AM

Brings back memories of home for you, eh Lookout?

lookout123 06-02-2005 11:01 AM

actually it does, syc. see in illinois everybody has to get drunk and tip a cow over at least once before they graduate from high school. fortunately this differs from the MO right of passage somewhat, in that we don't involve our dicks, mouths, lard, or grappling hooks.

i'm glad i'm from illinois.

Yeah...it's unfortunate. It explains why the vast majority of Missourians outside St. Louis are profoundly retarded.

The rite of passage in St. Louis is way different...your dad takes you to a whore on Cherokee St. when you turn 13.

cherokee street, you say? *reaches for post-it note*

You had to start working when you turned 13?!
:worried: That's sad.

See, Lookout, you need to quit staying out at Westport. The City is where it's at.

BigV, I heard that your mom was out there at 11. :)

lookout123 06-02-2005 01:02 PM

well, i'm mr monogamy these days, syc. but if i wasn't... Westport has plenty of likely targets for whom the evenings fee would only be a drink or two.

sometimes i honestly think that the ladies only hang out at westport because they know there are going to be A LOT of bored highly paid individuals hanging around - at any given time there are probably 150-200 employees of a certain firm staying at that Sheraton.

There was a similar phenomenon just outside of Keesler air force base in Biloxi, MS (and every other military base, for that matter). For some mysterious reason they were called the Keesler Cows. these are the ladies that would party at locations known to be frequented by the young enlisted guys. young, alone, away from home for the first time, a little cash in the pocket - these guys were easy prey for husband hunters. the girls viewed it as a way out of MS.

Absolutely...I think that happens everywhere. And when it comes to hookers, I think that hotels (or their employees) bring them in in many cases. Hell, I know that employers bring them in on occasion.

Uh-huh. Yo mama cracks. That takes me back. Way back. To, like, 5th grade. But maybe the trip is not so far back for you, eh?

elSicomoro 06-02-2005 01:40 PM

Eh, you do realize that I was joking with you, right?

I've read a LOT of your recent posts, and they're ALL a joke, so, yeah, I "realized".

elSicomoro 06-02-2005 01:58 PM
