Happy Summer Solstice Everybody!!

I want to wish all the Cellarites a happy, fun Solstice today!! Enjoy!! Go ride a pony to honor Epona (Celtic goddess of the horses) and have a bon fire!!
:muse: :ivy:  :queen: :destiny:

We're not supposed to touch the horses at forks. They cost more than we do.

But we will have the bonfire.

Happy Solstice, indeed!

Guess what time the sky turns from black to blue on this day? 4:05. The answer to how I know is the subject of another post, for when I have more energy to say. :)

Merry Litha, dear ones.

Burn some oak and myrrh for me.

According to my version of Star Pilot, Civil Twilight started at 4:00am. (Astronomical started at 2:29am, but who's willing to get up that early?)
So, where did you get 4:05?

Troubleshooter 06-22-2005 09:24 AM

Goddamn hippies...

Trilby 06-22-2005 09:35 AM

baby, if you want to see hippies check out the Plastic Forks thread. It's inspiring! It makes me wanna break out my ritual drum!

Elspode 06-22-2005 01:15 PM

Ritual in the park on Sunday at 2:00 PM CDT (2:15 PST - Pagan Standard Time), probable 50 to 60 attending. Burgers and dogs and potluck to follow. Selene and I do not have to conduct the ritual as we are having a covener do it on his way to his First Degree...but I do get to call a corner.

We loves us some Sabbats around these parts. Happy Litha, all!

mrnoodle 06-22-2005 02:23 PM

I am so not parsing that last post, els. ;)

Plenty people will enjoy the ritual. Picnic fare afterwards.

Not performing normal leadership role in ceremony.

So as to permit another person to do so as part of advancement requirement.
