Here ya go, LJ
it's the only NBN phot I have, sorry it's been used a bunch.

BTW, you're still at work? Do they at least give you a reach around? You're like the James Brown of Finance managers.

Well, the headlights are pointed toward us, and the people standing up in them are facing us...so, no. No, they look like they're standing completely still to me.

footfootfoot 07-14-2005 10:51 PM

Well, sometimes when you back away slowly...

aww it was a reach anyway.

french military vehicles in reverse??? oh shit, there must be some serious conflict. or at least a really angry looking squirrel.

wolf 07-15-2005 01:51 AM

They are intimidated because someone chilled the brie and left the white wine at room temperature.

Trilby 07-15-2005 07:03 AM

It looks hot. I'll bet it's really stinky right there. And snooty. Snooty, stinky people who'd hit ya over the head with a baguette as soon as look at ya.

Does anyone know what the French military is actually for?

Clodfobble 07-15-2005 08:02 AM

Crowd control at the Tour de Lance--ah, I mean Tour de France.

in my experience the French enlisted exist to wash the officer's white mercedes and drive them around. The French officers exist to watch over them and say "you missed a spot", or "that was our turn".

besides, without a French military who would yell "we surrender" anytime someone got close to the border with a stern look about them?

footfootfoot 07-15-2005 12:43 PM

I just checked with Janes and it seems those vehicles don't actually have forward gears, so that's that. [/snicker]

To stop America invading mainland Europe?

Based on past experience, I'd say that the word "stop" should be replaced with "to help".
