I love the fact that Fox accidentally managed to allow truth to be told despite their best efforts to make this all look like it was under control. I do find it hard to believe that public embarassment Geraldo Rivera even *has* a job, much less with Fox. I heard someone the other day say that they watched Rivera film a piece wherein he was shown escorting an elderly woman he had rescued to the Superdome...he did two takes.

I watched these interviews being broadcast live, and was astonished to watch Hannity sputtering like a toad on a griddle, trying to stop them from coming down so brutally on those responsible for the fiasco. Truth is not one of Mr. Murdoch's priorities for His network, and no doubt he got a call from team Bush about this lapse. CNN also has several reporters who were digging in and would not let go. But did anybody notice the VERY noticible shift in emphasis to white faces, white refugees making pleas and showing their ruined homes? This took place within one day of the buses' arrival at the Dome to begin evacuations. It was almost as if all of the networks were ordered to stop showing all the anarchy, filth, despair, and human flotsom because it was a) shining too much light on leadership failures, and b) compromising the collection of donations worldwide because the "victims" looked so unappealing :bolt:
