I was asked to take a few pics of my island for you all...here are a couple I snapped today.

Not much commentary on each. First one is of the wooded inlet across the road from where I am currently living. It stretches out for 4 or 5 miles beyond what you see.....and its green :D

Second pic is of the horse farm in covehead. my litte one is venturing closer to a shetland pony, in the fenced in area beyond. She was extremely excited to see/pet it. Watching animals is such a useful and FREE way to spend a sunday...

Anyways, thats all for now.....ciao

I would like to congratulate you for lovely pictures of PEI that totally avoid mention of the book.

(for the record, I have never read the book but my sister was crazy over it, and went to PEI because of it.)

Looks really nice there. Thanks for posting these pictures.

Me and my friends used to travel the "The Island" a lot when I was 18. Legal drinking age in Nova Scotia is 19 but only 18 on PEI.

Oh the excesses......

I went to the Canadian Scout Jamboree in '89 on PEI. It was very pretty, but pretty cold.

These are a year old but they still show how serene it can be, even in downtown Charlottetown. These pics are of the waterfront behind the court buildings, (by the delta hotel for all those familiar to the town).

Note : I do not own any of the ships in these pics :(
