Internet SOS

CNN news?? was on and just saw a story about someone from St. Agustine? TX. had posted an internet sos and got help. Of course CNN got there before the Red Cross. I've sent mail to CNN, congressmen, red cross and you name it. How do you post a sos on internet? Do you put it on first page or last page? Can someone enlighten this dumbass? :eyebrow:

Did it say who responded to the SOS - individuals or government entities?

We can't do much about government, but...is there anything that *we* can do to help you, Buster? I'm sure there are several of us here that would try to assist if you'll let us know what you need. I know that *I'll* try, anyway.

Naw that was just a popoff about the news and an internet sos, still would like to know how. CNN are the same folks who have adds for asshole cream and lose N2 lbs in a few days. MAke 50,000 bucks a month from home. ETC.

busterb is asking a classic "Devil in the details" question. How do you send an SOS on the internet? Do you send it to a national distress website? Is there some magic function that automatically opens on your browser when anyone sends an SOS? Or should we be smelling satanism.

Thanks tw.

I guess they just sent an e-mail to the right place.

BTW, I agree with El. If you do need something, just ask.

Beats me, Busterb. Sounds like a crock, frankly. Might have picked the message out of some place's stories by hurricane victims. I read a pretty horrifying one written by someone who made it back in to the 9th Ward to rescue their cat that they'd left behind. I guess if you wrote enough e-mails to a bunch of papers someone might pick your story up. I'm clueless. I will join the others who have offered to do whatever they can if you need help. Say the word!

Well, say for example someone here had posted a message for help ... we would have done what we could to get things going, right?
