This is a subject I know a little about. Iff you want to get started Go to your local discount store and buy a disposable U/W camera and go to the pool find a model or bring your own. Go at high noon or close as you can. For more examples go to www.uwfans.com, or www.aquafans.com and have fun. I love being underwater and taking pictures is a lot of fun.

I try to take pictures as often as I can, but usually I get so distracted that I forget I've got the camera with me!

We use a Canon PowerShot S70, and an underwater housing (I can't think of the brand/ model).

Most of my pics are on my work computer, but here's a few from this summer, and one from October when we were doing our underwater pumpkin carving contest. That's my friend Michelle with her pumpkin :)

The water visibility/ clarity was not great for any of these pictures, so sorry about the quality.

I really need to read the manual for my camera so I can get the settings right.

seak , don't worry about the quality you ain't a pro , underwater photography it HARD , it will get better with time and I know I like seeing the progression , so don't be shy , and if you want full size pics set up a flickr site ,here is mine,

its easy , hell I even did it !!!

seakdivers 02-05-2006 04:09 PM

Thanks Zippy!

I have an account set up with photobucket, and it seems to work pretty good. I have the full size pics saved on my computer, but I resized them so they wouldn't take up the whole screen. :)

There certainly is an art form to underwater photography, but the most important this is patience..... and I don't have any!

send a link to you photobucket site !!!
