Boy, is Russia gonna be embarassed when he gets arrested for online solicitation with a young "boy" who turns out to be a 40 year old Interpol detective.

He had just come from chatting with graduates of military academies and was all fired up on the youth/future thing.
OR...the kid was a KGB agent with a microphone in his belly button.

OK that was strange. I'm in a desert of explanation over that one.

It would have been a lot funnier if Putin had raised his shirt, then blown a big fart noise on his belly.

Sure, we think it's weird, but how many Russians think it's weird?

Those noises (which I made on my son's belly just last night) are called Zerbits in our house, capitalization optional. He was out of control with laughter.

What? You've never done something stupid? Unfortunately, when something silly is performed by a major public figure, then everyone wants to read a hidden meaning into it.
Meanwhile, if you have been watching over the years, major analysts are worrying about something far more important such as a slow return to a cold war. Steven Cohen is only a latest analyst who defines warnings. Russia's convenient natural gas shortages in Georgia, Italy, Ukraine, etc are but a latest example. New pipeline across the Black Sea into Turkey could be part of a process. A complete elimination of independent Russian broadcasters is another change. It does not help that America promised not to 'expand' towards Russia. George Jr has done just that. You think Russians have not noticed? What happened to a program to eliminate or modify highly enriched nuclear reactors throughout the world? Russia suddenly withdrew. A cold war is not on the horizon. But this does not discuss what we can see. While some worry about a 'kissed stomach', did they instead observe the world from Russia's perspective? Take a look. A second cold war because of this "Project for a New American Century" concept that America might even Pearl Harbor "India, Germany, or Russia" to stay #1. We desperately need leaders who would not destroy what Jimmy Carter did for world peace in 1996. Worry not about the boy's stomach. Worry instead about what Putin sees. Take his perspective. In the long term, it is unsettling what a logical and stable man would observe from Putin's perspective. Worry not about silly antics that we all do by mistake. |

Hi tw.
Talk about reading "hidden meanings"... We're discussing the weirdness of an adult man walking up to a young boy in the front of the crowd, strangers to each other, and lifting his shirt and kissing his bare belly. Famous or not, that's weird.

Maybe it's a cultural thing? Either that or Vladimir's hitting the vodka a little hard again.
