I saw Juniper Today...
She's very busy with classwork but she says HI!
I think I freaked her out. I was wearing my Mardi Gras beads...some of which were in my hair.... oh, well.

Did you earn those beads fair and square?

You didn't freak me out. Sorry I wasn't in top form today; I am operating on approximately two hours of sleep.
Long story, involving 15 double-layer arrowhead-shaped felt banners for Cub Scouts each with three gold grommets and a 1200 word research paper due tomorrow. Still not completely done, better go finish it! |

That would make a hell of a party dress.

Ha ha, yeah.
I am done, baby. 1460 words attempting to prove that a dead lesbian alcoholic poet had a sense of humor. Oh well. This quarter is kicking my ass. I am getting my first B's this quarter. In astronomy and philosophy, I've done the math and even if I do spectacularly on the finals, a B is pretty much it. Next quarter I've decided to take it easy and only have two online classes. Between the kids, work, and school I'm about to have a breakdown, and I really need to get this house organized and finally finish getting my mom's condo ready to sell. If I do this, and go back to full time in the fall, I can still graduate by spring 2010. This is important because I want to go to GRAD SCHOOL! ::ahem:: announcement : I know what I want to be when I grow up: a librarian! Yes, I have decided to enroll in a distance learning program offered by Kent State and earn a master's in library science. Classes are held at a local library just ten minutes away from my house, how cool is that? Now if I can just get through the next four weeks! |

My aunt was a librarian for probably her last 10 years before she retired. She really liked it, and it paid better than teaching too, so that was a bonus.

Over here they do. Well, my aunt was a teacher first, and then she did a librarian course which made her a teacher/librarian.
Might be different in the US.

The library I go to is a seething, writhing mass of humanity - some of it homeless!

I think the cook at the Huddle House makes more than teachers around here.
